Given the future challenges of feeding the world in 2050 with a population of 9.6 billion people, 75% of whom will live in cities and where there will be 66% less space available for food production and given the current problem of food and the food crisis with an average distance of 5,000 km from field to plate, there is a great deal of enthusiasm among private individuals and the media about the future of urban farming and the projects of the Urban Farm Company.
